A MIDSUMMER’S NIGHT DREAM

Set in two worlds, Athens, Greece, and the Enchanted Forest, A Midsummer’s Night Dream took our 5th and 6th Primary students, and 2nd and 3rd ESO students on a journey with four young lovers. Lysander, Hermia, Demetrius and Helena fell into false love due to the fairies’ influence. Shakespeare’s play combined perfectly comedy, drama, tragedy and adventure.

LaTourné Teatro offered us great performances and at the end of the show students had the chance to ask the native actors and actresses questions in English, to check their understanding or know a bit more about them.

We are looking forward to next year’s theatre play!

Ambientado en dos mundos, Atenas (Grecia) y el Bosque Encantado, El sueño de una noche de verano llevó a nuestro alumnado de 5º y 6º de Primaria y de 2º y 3º de ESO a un viaje con cuatro jóvenes amantes. Lisandro, Hermia, Demetrio y Helena caen en las redes del falso amor debido a la influencia de las hadas. La obra de Shakespeare mezcló perfectamente comedia, drama, tragedia y aventura.

LaTourné Teatro nos ha ofrecido grandes actuaciones y, al final de la obra, los alumnos tuvieron la oportunidad de hacer preguntas en inglés a los actores y actrices nativos, para comprobar que habían entendido bien o para saber algo más sobre ellos.
