2ND ESO VISITS THE UNITED NATIONS INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY FACILITY

On 24th October, the United Nations Day, 2nd ESO B students visited the United Nations Information and Communications Technology Facility, in Quart de Poblet, Valencia. The experience was enriching, because the students learnt a lot about the history of United Nations, as well as recycling, satellites, solar power, videoconferences and United Nations organisations, such as UNHCR.
El 24 de octubre, Día de las Naciones Unidas, los alumnos y alumnas de 2ºESO B visitaron el Centro de Tecnología de la Información y las Comunicaciones en Quart de Poblet (Valencia). La experiencia fue enriquecedora, puesto que el alumnado aprendió muchos aspectos de la historia de las Naciones Unidas, así como sobre reciclaje, satélites, la energía solar, videoconferencias y organismos de las Naciones Unidas, tales como ACNUR.
