One more year… here we are.
Working together, improving our own teaching skills, growing as a team, helping each other to be able to help and teach our students.
One more year, Mr Graham Moss assists some Agustinos’ teachers of English and a total of 12 groups of students from 6th primary to 3rd ESO. This is how we’re trying to get them into talking naturally. Our students are being taught actively in context, boosting up their vocabulary and using the grammar and the useful language they’re learning this year with more confidence in all type of tasks such as written paragraphs and descriptions, questions after reading comprehension activities, oral debates, brainstormings, games… etc.
As the 3º and 4º ESO English teacher, I highly appreciate coworking with him. His time with us is priceless, I wish students, parents and everyone understood how valuable this resource is and the great effort our school is making, so we never let ourselves to be idle or waste a second as soon as he steps into the classroom. British punctuality, a clever sense of humour, very patient communication, and being well-mannered are, amongst other, some of his soft skills also used in our classes.
Once a week (out of three) we enjoy ourselves learning and practising English with Graham. And of course, he is also learning a lot from our little Spanish ones, in a way that he can almost predict their mistakes and corrects them with a smile on his face. (Bl**dy masks won’t stop us from recognising good teachers smiling at us).
